Springfield is a community on the move – it is a growing city within our city. There are schools, a university, a TAFE campus, and more than 10,000 students already living and studying there. It’s a dynamic community. The Brisbane Lions have just announced they’re moving their headquarters to a new training stadium in Springfield – joining thousands of people who are choosing to live, work, and play in Brisbane’s western corridor.
The city’s vision statement is “Greater Springfield, Greater possibilities” – but without churches teaching the gospel, reaching this community with the story of Jesus, it’s just a city full of hearts beating for the wrong thing. Imagine the possibilities if thousands of hearts in Springfield started beating for Jesus.
Creek Road Springfield is a church full of hearts beating for Jesus. Hearts beating for the lost. It is a joy for us to see the enthusiasm they have for the gospel, and for being part of the Creek Road family. My prayer is that through our resources, people of Springfield will discover the greatest possibility – the eternal possibility – eternal life with our heavenly father, and a loving relationship with him made possible through the death and resurrection of his son. Jesus.
