Carina is an exciting place to reach the lost. Creek Road is part of the fabric of the community – many of us live here. Our kids go to school here. We play sport here. We have strong relationships with our local schools, and with our neighbours.
In fact, the church office had a visit from two puzzled Jehovah’s Witnesses who wanted to know how it was that every door they knocked on they were told: “we belong to a church, Creek Road.”
This is the luxury of being a church that has been here, serving the community, for generations. Our community is diverse – but it is full of people who need to know Jesus. People who need to meet Jesus – and whose best chance of meeting Jesus is through us.
My prayer for Creek Road Carina is that we’d be a place full of men, women and children who deny themselves, take up their cross, and follow Jesus.
– Steve Cree – Senior Pastor
